THE
HOUSE

From sharing a cup of tea

to a world that protects
people across borders

From a small tea table and a run on a dirt trail to workplaces and communities across the sea—

every place where people sit together, catch their breath, and share warmth becomes a door to our borderless House.

When the Wendys within us care for the self and those beside us

and the warmth and promises shared at the table take root as a culture that protects one another

we open a wider world

LOCAL GOODS / BRAND EXPERIENCE

Tea as a rhythm
for everyday life

In Boseong, a region facing population decline, we formed a partnership with the local Youth Village and brought the stories and everyday sensibility of the place to tea from Yeongcheon Tea Garden. Through local branding, packaging, and pop-up experiences, Byeotnwi Black Tea becomes a daily tea ritual.

HEALING ART / CREATIVE LEARNING

Creative learning to
sense and express

Through art and tea, music and meditation, movement and story, participants learn to notice emotional and bodily signals and express them in their own language. Human rights, diversity, and ESG become not standards to memorize, but creative experiences of imagining other perspectives and making choices together.

HUMAN RIGHTS / ESG / CROSS-BORDER GOVERNANCE

Standards that work
in the field

We test paper standards against field reality and turn them into structures where responsibility leads to decisions. From RBA- and EU CSDDD-aligned supply-chain due diligence to field data in Uganda and other Global South contexts, and defense-tech and security partnerships, our work is expanding into cross-border governance that protects people, capital, and data.

WENDY YANG

GOVERNANCE SYSTEMS ARCHITECT

B.A. in Political Science and Diplomacy from Sookmyung Women's University and M.A. in International Politics from Korea University. After encountering the issue of North Korean defectors through Model United Nations, she began asking how states should respond to lives pushed beyond institutional protection. That inquiry led to her research on refugee hospitality policy in Türkiye.

After graduate school, she edited an international multicultural-studies journal at the Research Institute of Asian Women, led social-contribution programs for marriage migrant women and their children, and researched international social-integration indicators. There she studied institutions and field realities designed for people, while recognizing the clear limits of how directly research and social-contribution work alone could intervene in the gap between them.

Grounded in the belief that human dignity must be protected, she builds standards that work in practice. People should be able to sense directions aligned with their values and purposes through their own inner sense, then choose their lives and happiness with agency through a balance of feeling and reason. Her emotion-body integration research therefore focuses less on technological control than on “emotion technology” that helps people recover their capacity to feel and choose. Wendy's Healing Recipe translates this research into lived culture and actionable human-rights and governance systems.
